The St. Louis Cardinals' Tots is a centerfielder. He was born in Bronxville, New York, on June 3, 1994. This New Yorker was a member of the baseball team at Horace Mann School in the Riverdale area of the Bronx, New York City. He was also a member of the New York Grays, a club team, whilst in high school. He committed to the University of Florida to play for the Gators after engaging with two other universities. The St. Louis Cardinals selected Tots in the third round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft, with the 100th overall pick. He signed with the Cardinals for a $400,000 signing bonus and debuted in the Class A-Short Season New York–Penn League with the State College Spikes, hitting two home runs in his very first game. He's also played for the Class A Midwest League's Peoria Chiefs, the Class AA Texas League's Springfield Cardinals, the Class AAA Memphis Redbirds, and the Arizona Fall League's Glendale Desert Dogs. Tots was handed his MLB debut on July 25, 2017.
