The Big Bang Theory Star Johnny Galecki Is Expecting Frist Child With Much Younger Girlfriend
One door is closing as another one is opening for The Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki. The hit CBS show is ending but his much younger girlfriend, Alaina Meyer is pregnant. He shared his joyous news via Instagram on Friday.
“We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we will soon be welcoming a little one into this crazy and wonderful world. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this celebratory time for us and our families. There truly is love out there for all. We hope ours is the ember of yours, as we feel yours is the ember of ours,” the actor stated, along with the photo of the happy couple.

The baby will make Galecki a first-time father at the age of 44. Meyer’s pregnancy has also given him something to look forward to, as the job he has had for 12 years comes to an end. The cast of The Big Bang Theory just shared behind the scenes photos of their final taping of the CBS show, which bows on May 16th with a special one-hour series finale.
Galecki and Meyer, who is a 21-year-old welder, confirmed their romance last September, after several months of quietly dating. They made their official red-carpet debut as a couple at the People’s Choice Awards. In December they were spotted wearing matching rings, which of course sparked marriage rumors. Meyer shut those down quickly via an Instagram Story with the hashtag #notmarriedyet.
